Access Solutions Scaffolding Delivers Successful Scaffolding Programme at Dalmuir Waste Water TW

We are proud of our long-standing collaboration with the water industry, including our latest successful partnership with Acre Industrial at Dalmuir WWTW.

During a crucial shutdown period at the BAE 20 and Clarifier areas, our expert team rose to the challenge with an intense, short-term scaffolding programme. The project kicked off with the installation of a specially designed cantilevered emergency escape ladder. This critical step ensured safe access and egress for the dedicated jetters working to clear the base of the BAE tank.

Our confined space-trained professionals then swiftly erected independent Cuplok staircases and loading platforms, along with additional scaffolds leading to the RAS Hood. Moving on to the Clarifier section, we constructed a series of mobile hanging scaffold platforms using Tube and fitting systems. These platforms facilitated efficient cleaning of the top of the machinery, optimizing the maintenance process.

Moreover, our skilled team constructed tube and fitting crash decks spanning 10m x 20m over the hoppers, enhancing safety within the confined workspace. Throughout the project, our work proceeded seamlessly, meeting all deadlines without a hitch. The entire operation was closely supervised by Acre's proficient rescue team, ensuring a seamless and secure working environment.
